Midi Mute and Mapping Slices

When you map a sliced sample, it creates a new layer. Importantly, it midi mutes the original layer.

Creating Layers

This seems easiest in the List view.

Change Mod Depth

You create end edit modulation by right clicking on a control.

If you select Edit Modulation, you see this
