This directory contains the old PT1 content that was hosted at https://w.allsup.co/. At some point PT2 will replace PT1 on that site and the original w.allsup.co will be replaced with a PT2 version. There are significant advantages of PT2 over PT1, and it has become my main note-taking app. There may be a few broken links.
Wny PT2
The original PT1 grew out of a tutorial I wrote for Youtube showing the minimum necessary for a functional Wiki. That was based around pages' names necessarily being WikiWord's, and also did not natively support hierarchical organisation of pages, so to make the original w.allsup.co work, I had an elaborate system of symlinks and copies of files (essentially one copy of PT1 per subdirectory) to make things work. What's more, to create a new subdirectory, I had to ssh into the webhost and create a new copy of the PT1 files. That became messy, but was functional for note storage, so I used that for the long while it took me to come up with PT2. Along the way the PT2 concept grew, and had to be simplified over and again.
