After an X201Ultrabook, this was the next LenovoThinkpad that I acquired, as usual via EBay (or possibly Amazon, as refurbished [laptops](RefurbLaptop) and [workstations](RefurbWorkstations) like the [HP Z800](/aw/pc/hp/HPZ800)). This is a way of getting hardware I could only dream of, at affordable prices.

I have only one T410, though I have four [T420s](T420Laptop) in various states of repair (i.e. two have broken screens for example). My T410 runs [Xubuntu](/aw/os/linux/XubuntuLinux), as do the rest of my Linux laptops (as and when I use Bertha, my Z800, again, I'll install Xubuntu on that too as I much prefer it to Gnome).
