Windows Terminal has a habit of crashing, and if it does, it takes down every tab in every window, not just the one that crashed. Thus I like to use Cygwin's terminal for things I don't want to get taken down by a Windows Terminal crash. Now often my scripts have CRLF line endings, so bash needs to get the igncr shell option set. Thus edit your user environment variables and add
