My thought is to take a track I've already made in Ableton or Reaper, and to apply one of these videos' methods to make a slightly different track. The [philosophy](/music/production/beginners/philosophy) I espouse here is to always aim to have a 'finished track' at the end of your session. In this case, starting with an already-made track and making a few modifications. If we do this a few times over, we will gradually morph from the previous track to something new, and hopefully both good to listen to and original. ## Youtube Videos * [Use a Triad Chord as a Trance Bass Sequence](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHOxb3JGWdc) TranceBassSequencesFromTriads * [Trance Arps Made Simple](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmUF0F_9BMo) TranceArpVideos and [[../TranceArps]]. * [Carte Blance Veracocha using Only Free Plugins](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2EiTYxvGtY) * [Trance Chords & Melody](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7oBzN8D5rPY) * [Easy Guide to Classic Rolling Bass](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16QprIlFu68)
